After an enriching week of sharing the love of Christ and exploring His beautiful creation, today we depart from Guatemala.
It’s bittersweet. While it’s fair to say most miss their families, friends, and favorite foods, it’s hard to leave Guatemala. The relationships formed, the friendships blossomed, and faith reaffirmed made this trip all the more special.
There were moments of joy.
Some filled with deep reflection.
Some caused by exhaustion.
And beautiful moments exploring God’s creation.
This is by no means a goodbye, or a “one and done” trip. This is a partnership that we as a church will continue to foster in the years to come. In this case, it’s an “hasta luego”, which means “see you soon” in Spanish.
Thank you for taking this journey with us. We hope to see you all for the youth presentation about our experience in Guatemala.
Save the date:
Sunday, September 17 at 10:10am at Westminster Presbyterian Church- Wilmington, DE in Community Hall!
We will share our experiences and the impact our entire church is doing for the communities and our partner church in Guatemala.
It’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about the church’s involvement in Guatemala, how you can get involved, and the sustainable changes your gratitude provides.
